A My PT Hub alternative for the programming itself
My PT Hub is all-in-one software with a branded app and an AI workout builder. RungGym is narrower: a dosed training block with injuries excluded.
The short answer
My PT Hub describes itself as all-in-one personal training software and app: workouts, nutrition coaching, bookings, habit coaching, messaging and payments, with an AI workout builder among its features. RungGym is a narrower product. Its core is the training block: 3 to 6 weeks built from the client's goal, level, equipment and conditions, with injuries applied as a hard exclusion and the dosing taken from the ACSM and NSCA guidelines, each rule with its source. Clients also get a private web page with a food log, habits, check-ins, messages and booking. If your clients need the branded app and the business tools, stay on My PT Hub and use RungGym for the block, if at all.
What My PT Hub is
- All-in-one personal training software with a client app
- Workouts, nutrition coaching and habit coaching for clients
- Bookings, in-app messaging, check-ins and payments for the business
- A white-label app option and an AI workout builder, both marketed by My PT Hub

What RungGym does
RungGym builds the training block. You enter the client's goal, level, available equipment and any conditions to work around, and a complete block of 3 to 6 weeks comes back: exercise selection, sets, reps, rest and a progression percentage per week, with a source reference behind each dosage rule. You hand it over as a PDF and as a private weekly sheet. Around the block, each client's private link also holds a nutrition log against your calorie and macro targets, habits, weekly check-ins with progress photos, messages and self-booking of your 1-on-1 moments. It has no branded app in the app stores, no card payments from your clients, no group class scheduling and no integrations with other platforms.
Stay with My PT Hub if
- You sell a branded app and your clients expect to find it in the app store
- You use the nutrition, habit and check-in features with your clients
- Bookings and payments run through the same account
- The AI workout builder already fits the way you write programmes
RungGym helps if
- You want conditions and injuries to act as a hard exclusion on exercise selection
- You want the source behind each dosage rule on the plan itself
- You want sets, reps, rest and weekly progression dosed along ACSM and NSCA guidelines
- You want a finished 3 to 6 week block as a PDF the client can also open as a worksheet
Most likely: alongside, not instead of
Most trainers on My PT Hub will not leave it, and should not: the client app, the messaging and the payments are the reason it is there. RungGym is for the step before. Generate the block, check the sources, then enter it into My PT Hub yourself. There is no integration, so that last step is manual.
