Training for yourself: pick your modules, cancel any time

Your own workout plan, built the way a personal trainer builds one

Fill in your goal, your level, what hurts and what you train with. RungGym returns the whole block: exercises, sets, reps, rest and weekly progression, safe for the conditions you ticked and ready as a PDF or on your phone.

Pick what you need, for one profile: yours

  • Training€6 a month
  • Nutrition€5 a month
  • Progress€3 a month
  • All-in-one: training, nutrition and progress€9 a month

No minimum term, cancel any time in one click. Add or drop a module whenever you want.

What you get

  • A complete block of 3 to 6 weeks: which exercises, how many sets and reps, how much rest, and how much to add each week
  • Exercises that are unsafe for a condition you tick are never selected, rather than flagged afterwards. Low back pain switches the core work to McGill's Big 3
  • Only exercises you can actually do with your equipment, from a full gym down to two dumbbells and a band
  • Sets, reps and rest dosed from the ACSM and NSCA guidelines, the same sources personal trainers work from
  • A printable PDF with a box per week to write down what you lifted, and a private link that opens the same plan on your phone with a demo video per exercise
  • A next block that rotates to different exercises, so progress stays measurable inside a block and boredom stays out
  • Nutrition, if you add it: calorie and macro targets and a food diary where you search a product or scan its barcode
  • Progress tracking, if you add it: check-ins with measurements, private progress photos, daily habits with streaks and a 20-second morning recovery check (sleep, fatigue, stress, soreness) that compares you with your own normal and tells you whether to train as planned or take it easier
  • One Today screen on your phone that puts together everything in the modules you use: your next workout, what you ate, your recovery and your habits

How it works

  1. Create your account

Name, email, password. Choose that you train for yourself.

  2. Describe yourself, not the workout

Your goal (strength, muscle, endurance, or fat loss and general fitness), your level, how many days a week you train, what hurts, and what you have to train with.

  3. Start your plan

Pick training, nutrition, progress or all three. Charged monthly from the day you start. One profile: your own. Cancel any time from your account.

  4. Generate your block and train

Print the PDF or open the phone link, log your weights, and generate the next block when this one is done. As many blocks as you want, as long as your plan runs.

Who this is not for

A generated plan works from what you tick, and nobody checks it for you. That is fine for a stable, known condition; it is the wrong tool if you are under treatment, recovering from surgery, or have been told by a doctor to be careful with exercise. Ask a physician first in that case, and stop and seek advice if an exercise hurts.

It also does not coach you. If what you actually need is someone to correct your form and keep you accountable, find a personal trainer. Many of them build their plans with RungGym, so you will recognise the worksheet.

Questions

What does a workout plan for myself cost on RungGym?
You pick modules for one profile, your own, with no minimum term: training €6 a month (as many blocks as you want, adjusted to what you logged), nutrition €5, progress tracking €3, or all three for €9. You cancel from your own account and keep access until the month you paid for ends.
Is this the same thing a personal trainer gets from RungGym?
Yes. Trainers use RungGym to build a plan per client; you use the identical generator, PDF and phone link for exactly one person, yourself. The only differences are that a coach pays per client where you pay a flat price for yourself, and that nobody reviews the plan for you.
I have a bad back or a bad knee. Can I still use it?
RungGym covers eight categories: low back pain, knee complaints and osteoarthritis, shoulder complaints, pregnancy and postnatal, high blood pressure, wrist and elbow complaints, balance problems, and excess weight with a low fitness level. Tick what applies and any exercise advised against for that condition is never placed in your plan. It is not rehabilitation: if you are under treatment or recovering from surgery, the plan belongs with your physiotherapist or physician, not with software.
I only have two dumbbells and a band at home. Does that work?
Yes. You tick what you have, and the generator only draws from exercises that fit. Bodyweight only works too. You can change your equipment any time and the next block adapts.
Can I cancel, and what happens to my plans?
Cancel any time from your account, in one click. You keep access until the month you already paid for runs out, and nothing is charged after that. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. While your plan is stopped you cannot generate new blocks; start again whenever you want and your profile and history are still there.
Is there a free trial, and can I get a refund?
No trial: your plan starts straight away, which is why checkout asks you to confirm that it may start immediately. You can still withdraw within 14 days: you then pay only for the days you used and get the rest back. After those 14 days, cancelling stops the next payment rather than refunding the current month.
